Every Saturday at 2:30 pm, the Musée Mer Marine offers a guided tour open to anyone who would like to discover the museum’s collections with an experienced guide, who will adapt to the audience – whether families, experts, or newcomers eager to be introduced to the wonderful stories of the maritime world!

Migrants and Migrations
Suitable for secondary school pupils
From early human migrations to today’s movements of people forced to seek peace, freedom and stability, this tour explores various mass migrations by sea, whether free (e.g. Europeans heading for the “new countries” aboard the great liners) or forced (e.g. the transatlantic slave trade). The tour ends with a time for discovery and discussion around the stories of today’s migrants.
The Sea for Little Ones
For nursery school
Using storybooks and playful materials such as modelling clay, this tour combined with a creative workshop for 3–6 year-olds introduces children to different themes related to the marine world.
